Nigerian singer Rema, whose real name is Divine Ikubor, recently shared the wildest rumor he’s encountered about himself.

The artist known for his hit “Calm Down” said that being labeled “a devil worshiper” was the most absurd allegation he has faced.

In a recent episode of the ‘Kids Take Over’ podcast, Rema was asked by the host about the craziest untrue thing he has seen online.

He responded with a laugh, “They say I worship the devil. It’s crazy. I didn’t bother to respond because it’s not important; it would just be a waste of time.”

He clarified that the symbols he incorporates into his art are rooted in Edo culture and are not satanic in nature.

Additionally, Rema discussed his collaboration with Canadian superstar Drake in 2020 for a song titled “Mention Me,” which was leaked. “I’m thrilled to have worked with a legend like Drake. If we take our time, I believe we can create something really impactful,” he said.
