Rema’s inclusion in the lineup adds to the international flair of the event, which aims to celebrate the best in music from around the globe.

Notably, both Burna Boy and Asake have received nominations in the star-studded International Artist of the Year category, while Rema’s track ‘Calm Down’ has earned a nod in the highly coveted International Song of the Year category for the 2024 BRIT Awards.

Despite Nigeria’s strong presence in the nominations, the country is yet to secure a BRIT Award win.

However, with Rema’s upcoming performance and the notable nominations, the Nigerian music scene continues to garner recognition on the international stage. The BRIT Awards ceremony is set to take place in London on March 2, 2023, promising an evening of memorable performances and prestigious accolades.
