The House member representing Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency, Nnamdi Ezechi, has empowered youths and women with skills and starter packs.
Daily Report Nigeria reports that the lawmaker disbursed over N10 million to beneficiaries at the end of a three-day skills acquisition programme on Saturday.
The programme instituted by the National Institute of Construction Technology and Management in collaboration with Pekjul Integrated Services held from Thursday, October 3 to Saturday, October 5, 2024.
According to the lawmaker, the initiative aimed to empower youths and women in the constituency with practical skills in areas such as confectionery, soap making, and ICT.

At the climax of the intervention programme, 100 successful participants were presented starter packs of N100,000 each, as well as certificates of participation.
The initiative held at the Umutu Skill Acquisition Centre in Ukwuani Local Government Area of Delta State.
