Resignation: Reno Omokri Reacts To Buhari’s New Directive

A former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan has commended President Muhammadu Buhari for ordering all ministers jostling for any elective office in 2023 to tender their resignation letter.

DAILY REPORT NG had reported that Buhari had on Wednesday ordered his appointees who have declared their presidential ambition to resign before Monday 16th of May.

Reacting, Omokri wrote: ”General Buhari’s order to his ministers who want to contest for the Presidency to resign with immediate effect is commendable, yet incomplete.

”For it to have potency, it must be expanded to include Emefiele, the CBN Governor, whose conflict of interest is alarming.”
