A retired police officer was on Tuesday killed by unknown gunmen in his farm in Oguta Local Government Area, Imo State, Chris Kpatuma.
Reason for his murder had not been ascertained.
However, fear has gripped the residents of the area.

It was learnt that after he was murdered on his farm, his severed body was brought back to his house by his murderers.
The traditional ruler of the community, Eze Blaise Ubah, said the murder had been reported to the police.
The police spokesperson for the state command, Mike Abattam, said investigation has commenced.
