He stated that party members as well as staff of the Secretariat were free to continue with their legitimate businesses within and around the National Secretariat.

Adams Oshiomole was finally suspended by a court order, but so much imbroglio greeted his suspension as the tussle to replace him grew.

While the National Working Committee of the APC announced former Oyo state governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi as Oshiomole’s successor in an acting role, other party officials announced themselves in the same role at different times, leading to tension, which resulted in the deployment of the Police to the Secretariat on Tuesday.
