Women thronged the streets of the community in protest of the gruesome murder of the octagenarian, causing pandemonium in the area.

“A woman was killed this morning, and the community is accusing a boy of killing her because the woman’s handbag was discovered in his possession.”

“When they saw the bag, they beat the boy to stupor.” “During the process, the police arrived and brought the situation under control,” a source who requested anonymity said.

Another source stated, “It is painful that people can no longer sleep with their two eyes closed these days because of killings here and there, mostly for ritual purposes.”

The government can no longer guarantee citizens’ safety or the security of their property.”

Mr. Bright Edafe, the State Command’s Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed the incident, saying, “A woman was killed, but none of her body parts were missing.”

Edafe stated that the police had deposited the woman’s body in the mortuary and that “from what we discovered, the suspect who killed the woman is mentally deranged.”
