Brazil legend, Rivaldo Vítor Borba Ferreira has told the incoming Barcelona coach, Xavi Hernández what to do upon mounting the throne of Barca’s manager.
The 1999 Ballon d’ Or winner has pepped on Xavi to secure the signing of new players during January transfer upon becoming Barcelona manager.
The former Barcelona star said the Catalan legend would need to buy two or three players having stepped up as Blaugrana’s coach.

The attacking midfielder believed that the signing would bolster his squad and at the same time guarantee his success at Camp Nou.

The 49-year-old added that Xavi would need to make the best out of the current Barcelona players.
The 41-year-old Xavi would take over from Sergi Barjuan of Barcelona ‘B’ following the sack of Ronald Koeman a week ago.
Rivaldo told Betfair: “Xavi is about to become Barcelona manager and he has a tough mission ahead. ”
“But a few shrewd signings in the January transfer window could boost his chances of success this season.”
“The team needs two or three new players to reinforce the squad, but Xavi will also need to get the best out of his current players, adapting the style of play to their qualities and bonding nicely with his group.”
A bandy-legged genius added: “There is a lot of young talent in the squad, and they need the freedom to develop all their qualities. At the same time, Barcelona needs more experienced players to take responsibility so that the youngsters aren’t overwhelmed by pressure.”
“The team can and should utilize young players, but they cannot rely on them at the beginning of their careers.”
