The latest suspension comes after President Bola Tinubu’s fourth intervention aimed at resolving the prolonged political tension in the oil-rich state.
The crisis is linked to ongoing disputes between Governor Fubara and his predecessor, Nyesom Wike, now serving as Minister of the Federal Capital Territory.
Two weeks ago, President Tinubu convened key political figures, including Wike and Fubara, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja to mediate the conflict and seek a lasting resolution.
