Prof. David Ogbonna, a Lecturer in the Department of Microbiology at the Rivers State University (RSU), Port Harcourt, has been suspended over alleged sexual harassment of a female student.
According to newsmen, Ogbonna was suspended following a previous report from the Academic Ethics Enforcement Committee of the school.

The report, thereafter, was forwarded to the Governing Council who later referred the matter to the Joint Council and Senate Disciplinary Committee on staff matters for explicit investigation and recommendation to the Council.
