The Police Command in Abia state has arrested two suspected armed robbers for allegedly withdrawing the sum of Seven hundred and fifty thousand naira (N750,000), from a man’s account.
The suspects reportedly perpetrated the act using the victim’s ATM cards, after forcefully obtaining the pins of the seven stolen ATM cards from the victim.
The suspects also carted away with some assorted home electronics as disclosed by Janet Agbede, the Commissioner of Police in the state.

Prior to that was he shooting of one Emmanuel Nnodim, a businessman in his house at Eziama Aba on the right side of his eye.
The two-man robbery gang who also reside in the state were paraded on Wednesday at the Command headquarter Umuahia.
The suspects are Ifeanyi Onyemesere,18-years-old who lives at No. 32 Portharcourt road, Aba and a 22 years-old Emmanuel Ifeanyichukwu Paul of No. 40 Ugorji street, Aba.
Following an intelligence report, the suspects were arrested last month in June by the Operatives of Rapid Response Squad (RRS) as declared by Janet.
The CP added that the incident occured on the 1st of March 2021 when Emmanuel Nnodim, the victim who is a businessman in his house.
According to the police, investigation is still ongoing as at the time of filing this report.
