Portuguese forward, Cristiano Ronaldo has become the highest paid Player following his switch to Al Nassr.

The Saudi Arabian league side completed the signing of the former Manchester United forward on Friday in a deal believed to be in the region of £175 million per year.

Daily Report Nigeria reports that Ronaldo became a free agent in November after his contract was terminated by Manchester United.

However, his new deal with Al Nassr has made Ronaldo the highest paid player and sports person on the planet.

CBS Sports reports that the entire volume of Ronaldo’s contract with Al Nassr would earn the Portuguese €216m a year plus ad revenue.

Ronaldo’s projected new revenue is far above thee €75m per season of Paris Saint-Germain stars, Lionel Messi and Neymar’s €70m.
