Portugal captain, Cristiano Ronaldo, on Thursday, broke another International record following a win against Liechtenstein in their quest to reach the Euro 2024.

Ronaldo made his 197th appearance for Portugal during the game against Liechtenstein, making him the player with the most appearances in International football.

The Al-Nassr forward was previously tied with Bader Al-Mutawa of Kuwait until the last night but the former Manchester United forward holds the record all by himself.

Ronaldo also scored two goals in the 4-0 win, including a fantastic free-kick.

His brace took his tally to 120 in International football goals, which makes him the leading goal-scorer in this regard.

The 38-year-old will hope to repeat his impressive display for Portugal when they take on Luxembourg on Sunday evening in their next game.
