Russia will launch an attack on the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ information warfare and psychological operations center, as well as the Ukrainian Security Service’s (SBU) technological facilities in Kyiv.
It did, however, request that citizens living nearby leave their homes, according to Maj.-Gen. Igor Konashenkov, a spokesman for the Russian Defense Ministry, who spoke to reporters on Tuesday.
“In order to suppress information attacks against Russia, the SBU’s technological facilities and Kyiv’s 72nd main PSYOPS center will be targeted with high-precision weapons.”

“We urge Ukrainian citizens drawn by Ukrainian nationalists to carry out provocations against Russia, as well as Kyiv residents living near relay centers, to leave their homes,” Konashenkov said.
He stated that since the start of the special military operation, the number of cyber attacks on various Russian state institutions has multiplied manyfold.
“Russian citizens are constantly receiving calls threatening physical elimination, as well as bomb threats to schools, kindergartens, train stations, and other social infrastructure facilities.”
“Information attacks on Russia are carried out by the Armed Forces of Ukraine’s 72nd Main Centre for Information and Psychological Operations, in collaboration with the SBU’s cyber operations units, using Kyiv-based hardware and software systems and communication facilities,” the spokesman said.
