Arsenal are now two points behind Spurs heading into the final day of the season after those two losses.
Spurs only need a point against relegated Norwich to ensure a top-four finish and Champions League football next season.
“We lost every duel and we weren’t able to play out correctly from the back,” Saka stated after the loss in Newcastle.
“The overall performance Clearly, we are all really unhappy.
“Although it is technically not over, we have made it extremely tough for ourselves.
“It’s such a letdown not to get Champions League football because we had it in our hands, and that’s why we’re all so disappointed.
“Of course, we have a young squad, but age is irrelevant; when these opportunities present themselves, you must seize them.
“We had the opportunity to win and put ourselves in a good position the past two games, but we couldn’t do it.”
