Sammie Okposo: ‘Judgemental Christians Contributed to His Death,’ Says Fan

A certain social media user and fan of late gospel artiste, Sammie Okposo has reacted to the singer’s death.

Okposo was announced dead on Friday, November 25, 2022. He was said to have slumped and died at 51.

Sharing the gospel artistes’ hit song video, “Wellu Wellu” on his WhatsApp Status, the fan, (name withheld) argued that “Judgemental Christians contributed” to the singer’s death, while recalling his earlier S3x scandal.

Okposo made headlines in January 2022 when he apologised to his wife, Ozioma on his verified Instagram page for cheating on her with a lady known also as African Doll in the United States of America (USA) for an incident that occurred in 2021. She had accused him of impregnating and abandoning her.

Following the incident, the singer decided to stay away from ministry for a while to go back in his spiritual steps before rejoining it after a few months.

Meanwhile, the fan said:

Judgemental Christians Contributed to His Death to his death, yeah! Ndi perfect and never sin set of Christians. The man was going through so much after his s3x scandal. There’s little the heart can take when it comes to emotional stress. No one enjoys to be shamed. It’s just sad his heart couldn’t bear for long.. learn acceptance and leave judgement for the Chief Judge.”
