Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has said that the ongoing imposed curfew in the state may be eased down on Friday, October 23.
Speaking earlier today, Governor Sanwo-Olu noted that the relaxation of the curfew was necessary for Lagos residents to restock food supplies and other essential commodities.
The Governor noted that once the streets are cleared up and agitations died down, the curfew might be relaxed on Friday, October 23, or the following day Saturday, October 24.
Mr Sanwo-Olu had imposed a curfew on Lagosians on October 20, hours before the infamous Lekki toll gate Massacre.
Meanwhile, Delta has become the latest state to impose a 48hr curfew on it’s citizens following the destruction of public properties by suspected hoodlums in Asaba, the Delta state capital.
