School Proprietress, 2 Children In Jail For Torturing 10-Year-Old Pupil | Daily Report Nigeria

A school proprietress and two children have been remanded in prison for the alleged torture on a young pupil.

According to reports, the proprietress of Cradle of Wisdom School, Mrs Clifford Ikpinkpini and her children, Okeisoprugwe Ikpinkpini, 34, and Okorie Ikpinkpini, 37, were remanded by Chief Magistrate Bolanle Osunsanmi of the Ogba Magistrate Court on four counts bordering on subjecting a pupil to inhuman treatment, torturing and abstraction of justice.

Confirming the incident, the police prosecutor, Supol Raji Akeem told the court that the incident happened between June 27 and 28, 2024.

She said the trio should be remanded pending the perfection of their bail after their arraignment before the court.
