At least eight teams have advanced to the knockout stage of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia. These teams are Nigeria, Germany, Spain, the USA, Brazil, France, Mexico, and Colombia.

The qualification was confirmed after Nigeria’s 4-0 victory over Venezuela on Saturday and Germany’s 1-0 loss to South Korea.

Nigeria’s Falconets secured their place in the second round following their win over Venezuela, finishing second in Group D behind Germany.
