Six victims of banditry have been rescued from the claws of their abductors in Katsina state.

The victims, who were reported to be six in total were abducted by armed bandits in Walawa community, Sukuntuni district in Kankia Local Government Area of the state.

 

In recent news, shared by Crisis and conflict journalist, Bakatsine, the victims have been arrested by the Katsina Community Watch Corp (CWC).

Disclosing this on Saturday, be noted that the security agencie bust the bandits at their hideout, leading to the rescue.

In related news, the vigilante group in Zamfara state have arrested a 75-year-old bandits spiritual father.

The accused is said to be responsible for preparing fortification charms for bandits leader, while praying for their weapons and safety operations.
