Senate Gives Buhari Deadline To Present 2021 Budget | Daily Report Nigeria

The Nigeria Senate has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to ensure the submission of 2021 National budget before the end of September, 2020.

While stating this, President of the Senate “Ahmad Lawan”, referred to the 2021-2023 Median Term Expenditure Framework and Fiscal Strategy Paper, submitted to the Senate on Tuesday, by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Lawan explained that the presentation of the budget before the given deadline will enable the Senate to do necessary works and pass the bill before the end of December.

He assigned the concerned committee members to engage all the revenue-generating committees to ensure a smooth job.
