Abia South Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe has stated that President Bola Tinubu is set to lose the 2027 presidential election. Speaking on Politics Today on Channels Television, Abaribe claimed that Nigerians are ready to vote differently in the upcoming election.
“Everybody loses elections, and you will see that Tinubu will lose in 2027 because I know what Nigerians are feeling,” he said.

The senator reiterated his view that Tinubu did not legitimately win in 2023, though he acknowledged his presidency. He warned that “it will no longer be an announcement at 3 a.m. declaring the winner; this time, the masses are ready.”
Abaribe expressed confidence that opposition forces and the electorate will ensure a different outcome in 2027.
