Real Madrid legend Sergio Ramos expressed his joy after the club’s historic 15th Champions League victory, following their 2-0 win over Borussia Dortmund in the final at Wembley on Saturday.
Despite being underdogs, Dortmund put up a strong fight against the heavily favored Real Madrid. In the first half, Dortmund dominated, with Karim Adeyemi and Niclas Füllkrug testing goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois multiple times.
The game shifted decisively in the second half. Dani Carvajal broke the deadlock in the 74th minute with a fine header, putting Carlo Ancelotti’s side ahead. Vinicius Jr. then sealed the victory with a second goal a few minutes later.
