Seun Kuti, the renowned Nigerian musician, opened up about his relationship with his first daughter during a discussion about fatherhood. In a viral video interview with media personality Timi Agbaje, Seun revealed that he had a child with a previous partner before marrying his wife, Yetunde.
While emphasizing fatherhood as his most significant accomplishment, Seun Kuti explained that he isn’t close with his first daughter due to a lack of connection with her mother.
He expressed, “The greatest thing I ever achieved is becoming a father. I have two kids, but I’m not very close to my other daughter. Despite the complications, experiencing the joy of fatherhood is my greatest achievement.”

He added, “No family is perfect, and my circumstances are complicated. I wasn’t married when my first daughter was born. Interestingly, I had only engaged in premarital sex twice before her birth.”
