An event meant to be joyful has thrown residents inna state of mourning, following a stampede in Ibadan, Oyo state.
Multiple children have been confirmed dead in a stampede during a giveaway for kids in Ibadan.
It was gathered that the wife of the Ooni of Ife, Queen Naomi had, through Agidigbo FM asked parents to bring their kids for the giveaway of free gifts at the address of the radio FM.
It was gathered that parents trooped into the arena with their kids but a stampede occured, which allegedly resulted in a stampede that claimed the lives of multiple children.

One Facebook user claimed her sister’s son was “involved”. While some other users claimed an unidentified number of children have been taken to a hospital in Ibadan.
