When asked to pick between Nigerian music icons Wizkid and Davido, Seyi initially hesitated, acknowledging both as national treasures. However, after some contemplation, he leaned towards Wizkid, stating, “Wow! Okay, I would say Wiz [Wizkid].”
In another comparison, Seyi Awolowo opted for veteran comedian Alibaba over AY when prompted to choose between the two.

Furthermore, he expressed his preference for Nigerian award ceremonies over their international counterparts, favoring the Headies over the Grammys and the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) over the Oscars.
Lastly, when faced with the choice between his hometown and Lagos, Seyi affirmed his allegiance to Lagos.
