Popular Nigerian musician, Seyi Vibez, has parted ways with his record label, Dapper Music, and unfollowed the label’s boss on social media.

The split comes after the singer faced heavy backlash from Nigerians in Toronto, Canada, for cancelling a scheduled show without prior notice.

In response to the criticism, Seyi Vibez updated his social media bio to reflect his new status as an “Independent artist” and deleted all previous posts from his page.
