Popular Nigerian singer Seyi Vibez, whose real name is Balogun Afolabi Oluwaloseyi, recently shared his story of humble beginnings.
In an interview with Cool FM, Lagos, the ‘Different Pattern’ hitmaker revealed that his family encouraged him to leave home at the age of 15 to fend for himself and support the family.
He recalled, “I left home when I was 15. Things were difficult in the ghetto, so I had to make a way for myself. Even my own family told me, ‘Go, don’t die here. It’s better you go and hustle for yourself’.”

Seyi Vibez rose to fame with his breakthrough single ‘Chance (Na Ham)’ in 2022 and won the Best Street-Hop Artiste award at the 16th Headies Awards in 2023.
