Qatari Banker Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani is set to acquire Premier League club Manchester United from the Glazers this summer.
Reportedly, the completion of the deal is expected soon, and the announcement of a full takeover would be made next month.
Sheikh Jassim has made multiple bids for the Red Devils.

As per reports, the Sheikh is currently in advanced talks to finalize the £6 billion deal, with his representatives meeting the Glazers.

Jassim has successfully outbid British businessman Jim Ratcliffe for the club.
The Glazers put Manchester United up for sale in November 2022.
Sheikh Jassim’s proposal involves a full takeover of the club, in contrast to Ratcliffe’s interest in a major share with a minority stake for the Glazers.

The Glazers bought the club in 2005, but their tenure at Old Trafford has resulted in debts exceeding £1 billion.
Meanwhile, Manchester United coach Erik Ten Hag has made three significant signings this summer during the ongoing takeover negotiations (Rasmus Hojlund, Mason Mount, and Andre Onana).

Last season, United finished third in the Premier League standings, accumulating 75 points from 38 matches.
They will commence their 2023/24 Premier League campaign against Wolves on Monday, August 14, at Old Trafford.
