Sheriff Oborevwori has been sworn-in as governor of Delta State.
Daily Report Nigeria reports that Oborevwori emerged winner of the March 18, 2023, governorship election ahead of Ovie Omo-Agege of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Oborevwori and his deputy, Monday Onyeme, took the oath of office administered by the State’s Chief Judge of the state, Hon. Justice Tessy Diai, at the state capital.
