Panic broke out in Aba, Abia State, on Tuesday evening after a female passenger was found dead inside a moving tricycle, popularly known as Keke Napep.
The incident occurred around Railway Junction, near the gate of Ogbonnaya Onu Polytechnic, throwing residents of the area into confusion and distress.

According to eyewitnesses, the unidentified woman had boarded a commercial tricycle heading towards the Railway Junction near Ezeukwu Road. However, upon arrival at her destination, she was found unresponsive. The tricycle operator, noticing she was not moving, immediately raised an alarm.
By Wednesday morning, a picture of the deceased had surfaced on social media, prompting some residents to identify her as “Auntie Love,” said to be a teacher and secretary at a popular school in Aba.
As of the time of this report, there has been no official confirmation of the victim’s identity or residence by the police or any relevant government agency.
A message sent to the Public Relations Officer of the Abia State Police Command, DSP Maureen Chinaka, seeking confirmation of the incident, had not been responded to.
