Kanye West’s latest album, “Vultures 1,” faced a swift removal from streaming platforms just five days after its release due to copyright infringement issues. The album, which debuted to significant attention, was pulled from Apple Music and iTunes on Thursday afternoon. Despite holding the No. 1 slot on the Top 100: Global chart with the song “Carnival,” the album’s distributor is actively working to remove it from all streaming services.

In response to the situation, the distributor, FUGA, issued a statement addressing the copyright issues surrounding the album.
“On Friday, February 9, 2024, a long-standing FUGA client delivered the album Vultures 1 through the platform’s automated processes, violating our service agreement.
‘Therefore, FUGA is actively working with its DSP partners and the client to remove Vultures 1 from our systems.”
