Several shops, houses and varying properties have been consumed by a fiery furnace caused by a collision between a trailer and tanker conveying petrol.

According to reports, the sad incident took place around 11pm on Sunday, September 6th.

Details of the incident were yet to be ascertained as at the time of filing this report.

Sources say a trailer and a tanker had collided, causing the trailer to fall down and went up in flames immediately.

Houses, shops and cars were consumed by the furnace before the fire service was called from Suleja to put out fire.

Probable cause of the collision as stated by the Federal Road Service Corps (FRSC) is the loss of control by the vehicles.

Number of casualties were also yet to be ascertained by the FRSC.
