Shops Destroyed As Fire Razes Motor Park in Nasarawa

An inferno has razed shops at the new Lafia Motor Park in Nasarawa state, destroying goods worth millions of naira

According to NAN, the inferno started on Friday night and lasted till the early hours of Saturday

Hanatu George, coordinator of the state fire service, while speaking on the incident, said firefighters responded to a distress call that came in on Friday night.

She said the fire had been put out and that no life was lost.

Hanatu further disclosed an investigation had begun to ascertain the cause of the fire.
