Simisola Kosoko, better known as Simi, attributed her success in the music industry to the trailblazing female artists who came before her.

In a recent interview with African Folder, the mother of one recognized the sacrifices made by these women, who defied norms and shattered barriers in the male-dominated music industry. Their determination and hard work paved the way for others, like Simi, to thrive in the industry.
