Finland-based agitator of Biafra Indigenous Leader (IPOB), Simon Ekpa has declared Nnamdi Kanu’s letter ordering an to end sit-at-home in the South-East region as fake.
Ekpa called on South Easterners to ignore the letter which he described as fake and a misrepresentation of Kanu.
Ekpa’s rejection of the letter is coming even as IPOB’s Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful confirmed the authenticity of the letter.

Powerful had said:
“Yes Onyeisi wrote it to him. My brother, that criminal has done a lot of damage in Igboland.”
However, Ekpa, in a post on his verified Twitter handle @simon_ekpa said:
“Our attention has been drawn to the fake letter from the pit of hell being paraded by Nigeria media claiming that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu wrote a letter. It is not only a joke but an insult taking too far that the leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra is being misrepresented in this way.
Sit-at-Home: Senate Demands Simon Ekpa’s Extradition From Finland
“As the Prime Minister of Biafra under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, I call on all Biafrans to disregard the fake letter coming from DSS. We can’t take any order from the Islamic DSS and that is final. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu must be released and he must address Biafrans from Finland. That is the condition of the Prime Minister of Biafra and the Biafra Republic Government In Exile.”
In his handwritten letter, Kano ordered Ekpa to stop fighting the governors or those in office because he was not in a position to know what they were doing in his name.
The letter had read:
“Simon, this is a direct order from me. I hereby instruct you to desist from calling for any sit-at-home henceforth.
“Equally refrain from antagonising governors or persons in political positions because you are not in a position to know what they are doing on my behalf.
“I am ordering you to make a public announcement to the effect that you are in receipt of a direct order from me to cancel any Monday or future sit-at- home order in place at the moment.
“I embarked on the movement to liberate our people not to enslave them. I despise and despise any person or entity that wishes to inflict unnecessary hardship on our people.
“I have authorised Alloy to issue a press statement if you fail to make this announcement on your platform.”
