Simon Ekpa: FG Submits Extradition Requirements to Finnish Government | Daily Report Nigeria

The Nigerian government has taken a significant step towards the extradition of Biafra agitator, Simon Ekpa, by submitting the necessary requirements to the Finnish government.

This was disclosed by the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, on Channels Television on Tuesday.

According to Musa, “Well, I’m sure he’s cooling off somewhere. Legal action will be taken accordingly. I don’t want to say too much, but I’m glad he’s been arrested. The Federal Government has provided most of the required documentation to the Finnish Government, so I’m confident the right steps will be taken.”

Ekpa, who was arrested in November 2024 by Finnish authorities along with four others, is suspected of involvement in terror-related activities, including incitement to violence and financing terrorism.
