Since Amalgamation, Nigeria Has Never Had Better President Like Buhari — Gov Masari | Daily Report Nigeria

Governor Aminu Masari of Katsina State has said that “since the amalgamation of Nigeria in 1914, the country has never had a better government and President like Muhammad Buhari.”

The governor announced at a rally organized by beneficiaries of the federal government’s Social Investment Program (NSIP) in Katsina on Saturday.

According to reports, the rally was organized by the Social Protection and Good Family Values Initiative (SPGFVI).

The rally’s goal was to persuade the federal government and the national assembly to pass legislation making the program permanent.

President Buhari, according to Masari, has built a significant foundation that, if properly implemented by the next administration, will help to lift many Nigerians out of poverty.

He said:
“I wish to inform you that I am totally in support of this call for the president to make it law before the end of his tenure. By doing such, it will continue to reduce the challenges Nigerians are facing.

It is unfortunate for someone to wake up in the morning, thinking of what to eat, how to go to the hospital, or take their children to school, but this programme has reduced such difficulties for people.

And if a law is enacted and it becomes permanent, no government will come and stop it, and Nigerians will continue to enjoy the programme and it will continue to reduce unemployment.”

Gov. Masari assured the program’s participants that their message would be delivered to President Muhammadu Buhari and the National Assembly.

He also encouraged the beneficiaries to write their demands to their representatives in the national assembly, so that the issue could be pursued at the local levels.

Mr. Mustapha Bara’u, the state’s SPGFVI Coordinator, had earlier stated that the organization’s main goal is to ensure the well-being of Nigerians, particularly youths, the elderly, physically challenged people, women, and students.

According to him, the NSIP program piqued their interest because it is directly related to one of their main goals.

He explained that the rally had previously taken place at ward levels across the state, where their commendation letters were presented to District heads for transmission to the President.
