Singer, BNXN to Face Sanctions for Spitting on Officer

Ben Hundeyin, a spokesperson for Lagos State Police Command, noted that singer, Daniel Benson, AKA, BNXN would face sanctions for assaulting a police officer.

In now-deleted tweets, BNXN revealed that he had an altercation with a certain officer where he spat on the latter’s face.

Spat in a police officer’s face and it felt so good. I let you in my car and you dragged and tear my shirt, and start slapping me? (Sic) Nah, everybody must stop!” he had said.

Hundeyin, on seeing this, promised via Twitter that the officers involved would be punished if found guilty of misconduct.

On BNXN’s part, the spokesman noted that the singer will “surely” face the law for assaulting a police officer.

“@BNXN proudly tweeted that he ‘spat in [sic] a police officer’s face and it felt so good.’ He has since deleted the tweet.

“The police officers will be sanctioned for their misbehavior if established, while @BNXN will surely answer for his assault on a police officer,” Hundeyin tweeted on Wednesday.

A video of the fallout with members of the Nigerian Police Force surfaced on Twitter on Wednesday.
