hPopular Nigerian singer and songwriter, Chukwuka Ekweani, popularly known as Ckay, had received a BRIT Certified Silver Plaque for his hit song, ‘Love Nwantiti’.
‘Love Nwantiti’ was released by Ckay in 2019, but received international recognition in 2021 after a viral challenge on TikTok, and has so far gotten 200,000 sales in the UK.
The excited singer took to his official Instagram to share photos of him receiving the award.
Sharing the photos, Ckay captioned it;
“My first plaque.”
