Counterinsurgency Gains
The DHQ spokesman noted that troops under Operation HADIN KAI sustained aggressive operations between September 23 and 30 against Boko Haram, ISWAP and JAS terrorists across Borno, Adamawa and Yobe States.
“Our ground forces, in conjunction with the Air Component, Hybrid Forces and local security groups, eliminated several terrorists, dismantled their networks and destroyed their logistics,” Kangye said.
He added that the operations not only weakened insurgent strongholds but also supported the safe resettlement of displaced persons and allowed farmers to return to their fields without fear.
