Former Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase, has decried the killing of security personnel, especially police officers, in the South East.
Arase, who is the Chairman of the Police Service Commission, explained that wives of police officers in the region are fast becoming widows as a result of attacks on cops by gunmen.
A statement by Head, Press and Public Relations, Ikechukwu Ani, said Arase expressed concern over the development when leaders of Federal Capital Territory (FCT) chapter of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, paid him a courtesy visit in Abuja.
