Spectranet blocks Twitter services following FG orders

Spectranet bans Twitter service following FG orders

After the Federal Government of Nigeria’s banned the Twitter’s service in Nigeria, Spectranet has followed the government’s order and announced that it’s service won’t be used for Twitter services anymore, until further notice.

Spectranet statement reads:
“Dear Valued Customer,
As per the directive from NCC and Federal Government, Twitter services have been suspended till further notice.”
Spectranet bans Twitter service following FG orders

Nigerians using the the application for WiFi have shared their sadness over the ban, the four major network providers have also taken out the government orders by restricting their users from accessing twitter.
