Controversial Nigerian rapper Speed Darlington has told his fans to quit comparing him to popular singer Wizkid.
The ‘Akpi’ rapper pointed out that a lot of fans have been saying he’s better than the Starboy boss, but he doesn’t appreciate the comparison.
Speed Darlington was visibly annoyed about being likened to Wizkid, stating that he has been in the music industry for nearly 8 years and has never met Wizkid, even though the singer once mentioned him in New York.

During a recent Instagram Live session with his fans, Speed Darlington made it clear that he’s not happy with the comparison.
“Why are people telling me that I am better than Wizkid? How do I and Wizkid correlate? Do you know how many years I’ve been in this industry? Seven years. Next year, May 17 or 16, I will be 8 years in the industry and I’ve never met Wizkid. Although he has previously acknowledged me in New York. He posted one of my songs. Please, stop the comparison.”
