Nigerian actress, and politician, Hilda Dokubo has spoken up on the recent news in Rivers state.
Daily Report Nigeria recalls that the president of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu declared a State of Emergency in Rivers state due to prolonged unresolved political disagreement in the state.

This also led to the suspension of the governor of the state, Governor Siminalayi Fubara, his deputy Ngozi Odu, and all 27 elected members of the State House of Assembly for an initial period of six months.
In recent news, Hilda Dokubo has called the act shameless, while greatly condemning the declaration.
She wrote;

The military has deployed trucks to the Rivers Government House in Port Harcourt, following President Bola Tinubu’s declaration of a state of emergency in the state.
The whereabouts of Governor Siminalayi Fubara remain unknown, amidst the military deployment and the declaration by President Tinubu.
