The Nigeria Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has fully digitised its student loan application system, warning all tertiary institutions to urgently upload student data or risk delaying disbursements.
NELFUND announced on Wednesday that its Student Loan Application System (SLAS) has now been fully digitised to simplify loan processing for students and institutions.
“This upgrade is designed to ensure timely loan approvals.

All accredited tertiary institutions must now request access to SLAS in order to verify, upload, and monitor student loan application data,” said Mr. Oseyemi Oluwatuyi, Director of Corporate Communications at NELFUND, in a statement issued to the press.
The statement reads partly. “Institutions yet to onboard the system must send a request to registration@nelf.gov.ng without delay,” the statement reads partly.
“Verification and data upload are mandatory before final approval and disbursement.”
