The leadership of the Miyetti Allah cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) has met with the Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammed Saad Abubakar, over the security challenges involving criminals who operate under the guise of herdsmen.

The meeting was held behind closed doors on Friday, as the leadership of Miyetti Allah attributed the kidnapping and banditry that have continued to ravaged the country to the inability of the government to act decisively against the criminals.

The Secretary-General of MACBAN, after the meeting urged all its members, especially those in the southwest to abide by the laws of their host communities and stay away from trouble.
