Super Eagles goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye has recorded his first clean sheet of the season for Sparta Rotterdam in the Eredivise on Saturday.

The former Fortuna Dusseldorf II shot keeper has for the first time conceded no goal so far following a 3-0 victory at the Koning Willem II Stadion.

Willem II was the first team that failed to score against Okoye’s side following a 3-0 defeat.

The Red-White Gladiators savoured their first away win and the second win so far in the Dutch Eredivise against Fred Grim’s men.

B Vriends scored twice for his side at 17th and 28th minutes before E Emegha put their lead beyond doubt having found the back of the net in the 79th minute.

Following the win, Sparta Rotterdam escaped the relegation spot to go up to 15 on the league table with just 10 points in 12 games.
