Super Falcons centre-back Oluwatosin Demehin received ₦30 million and a new Akure apartment from Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa in recognition of her stellar role at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

Hosted at the Government House on Monday, the Fenerbahçe defender was lauded for playing every minute of Nigeria’s six matches and scoring her first senior goal during the 5–0 quarter-final win over Zambia.
