President Bola Tinubu admitted he didn’t want to watch the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations final because he worried it would raise his blood pressure until his aides turned on the TV.

President said while welcoming the Super Falcons home: “Honestly, I did not want to watch the match. I didn’t want high blood pressure.”

Super Falcons’ Comeback Win Moved President Tinubu.

“But people came into my room and turned on my TV to that channel.”

As soon as Nigeria fell 2–0 behind, he grew anxious but stayed glued to the screen.

“I was impressed by the indomitable spirit of resilience, determination and courage of the team,” – He added

In Rabat, the Super Falcons erased a two-goal deficit and clinched a 3–2 win.

Their stunning comeback exhibited sheer grit and mental strength.

Moreover, it secured another trophy and embodied the fighting spirit and perseverance that define Nigerian football.

This victory reverberated across the nation, inspiring millions and earning the president’s heartfelt praise.

Ultimately, it proved how belief and unity can overcome any adversity.
